PSIONIC has participated on research paper on Formulating PEO-Polycarbonate Blends As Solid Polymer Electrolytes By Solvent-Free Extrusion, which was published on September 2024. The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the viability of a solvent-free extrusion procedure that is easily scaled up for industrial applications. Simultaneously, an optimisation and investigation of the relative effects of different PCs and variable PEO/PCs ratios on the mechanical, morphologic, and electrochemical properties of the final polymeric membranes was carried out for future applications of these systems as efficient electrolytes in all-solid-state lithium batteries.
